FRANKO are a young, alt-rock band from South London UK. Their blistering live style is matched by their unique and savvy songwriting. Having already made their mark, the 4 piece has achieved plenty - playing for London's City Showcase, touring in Thailand (including the inaugural Silverlake Festival in January 2012, with Incubus), taking their live show to New York City and supporting acts such as Elliot Minor, Room 94, Ivyrise and Dave Giles on UK national tours.
2011 saw FRANKO play at Music Matters in Singapore, where they were lauded as one of THE bands to see at the festival and contributed performances to the international charitable single 'Fix You' by Music Matters For Japan. FRANKO also won Best Rock Act 2011 at the inaugural St Helier Cider Online Music Awards, nominated by an industry panel and voted for by the public. December saw a 6 day residence at Birmingham's NEC, where they were the only live band appearing at the Clothes Show Live event, lining up alongside acts like Alexandra Burke, playing to thousands of new fans each day.
Their international and home-grown fanbases continue to swell as more and more towns and territories latch onto their distinctive sound. Online fan pages continue to spring up all over, including those in the US, Canada, France, Germany, Holland, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, Mexico, Chile, Uruguay, Argentina - and the guys make sure they service their fans diligently, and with the respect they deserve.

2012 is moving fast. FRANKO have started work on new tracks with Dan Weller in the producer's chair (fresh from his acclaimed work on Enter Shikari and Young Guns' 2012 albums), and supported McFly at the opening night of their March UK tour - having won the chance courtesy of their fans' votes in the McFly 'Battle of the Bands' competition. May saw them co-headlining around the UK with The Hype Theory, and, in June, FRANKO support No Lights at Lockdown.
